Dad's new recipe



Hello!


It's been so long I didn't updating this blog. Sorry for that. I have just arrived from Kota Bharu yesterday morning. And got to rushed up to go to my best friend's wedding. Give a big clap for her. Yay..! Married already. Hihihi..


Anyway, I never thought that my dad has a very brilliant to make his own recipe. Hehe.. He adjust from the traditional Kuih Lapis to a modern one *modern I guess*.


And the name for the new development of Kuih Lapis is Kuih Lapis Kacang Hijau.

Ayam Kerutuk

Today's dish: Ayam kerutuk. I don't know why it is sounds like that. It is like terkutuk, mengutuk or what ever tuk tuk and ketuk-ketuk Ramadan. Eh only in Ramadan can watch Ketuk-ketuk Ramadan with Sheila Rusly. Hihhiiii

Oh by the way, this ayam kerutuk is actually one of a recipe from Kelantan. I do love Kelantan's food. But not the jala mas or jala ikan or mas airline. Too sweet. Boleh menjadikan muka bertambah manis.

Anyway, I would like to share a few pictures of the ayam kerutuk. Hey I just made it around 1.15 p.m. Hewhew..

This is the secret. Eh so lazy to make the manual recipe. I mean need to pool so many ingredients to make the original taste. Oh you know lah kan bila time exam ni. Nak pergi mandi pun rasa macam dah ambil masa. Ceh!

So it is easy to use this instant perencah kerutuk. Heheee You may try it. So easy to find. Dekat kedai runcit tepi rumah you all tu pun ada. Lalala~ Recipe at the back tau..

Ayam Tomato

...and this is actually a continuous entry from previous entry.

While making the nasi planta, I decide to make Ayam Tomato for the side dish. A very simple dish lah actually. Lauk orang bujang. Tutup mata je pun boleh buat. Hehe.. Then I godek-godek dapur and.. Ok good. I have every single ingredient that I need.

Ayam Tomato:


7 ketul ayam
*1 labu bawang besar
*2 ulas bawang putih
*1 inci halia
*5 biji cili api
1/2 cawan sos tomato @ tomato puri
1 biji tomato *dipotong dadu
1 labu bawang besar *hiris
Kacang peas *opt
Salutkan ayam dengan kunyit dan garam dan goreng separuh masak.


Kisar *.
Tumis kan sampai naik bau dan masukkan tomato dan sos tomato @ tomato puri. Tumis hingga pecah minyak.
Masukkan ayam dan sedikit air. Kalau nak kuah banyak, letak lah air lebih sikit. Bergantung pada citarasa masing-masing.
Perasakan dengan garam dan gula.
Masukkan bawang besar yang dihiris dan kacang peas.

Minggu study week ni, puas dok fikir nak masak apa. Macam suri rumah gitu. Hari-hari nak kena fikir nak masak apa untuk suami. Hoh hoh.. Menggunung tinggi cita-cita zaman kanak-kanak nak kahwin dengan anak raja walaupun sedar diri rupa tak seindah mana. Ala macam cerita omputih tu..


Kelmarin saya try buat char kuey tiaw. Tapi harap bunyi je semenggah. Tak jadi pun. Sebaliknya jadi kuey tiaw goreng tarok telur. Oh yeah! Tapi tak la tak sedap pun. Biasa lah untuk first-trial kan.. *nak sedapkan hati*


Tiba-tiba masa tengah study Malaysia Derivatives tadi, otak yang sedang ligat dok fikir pasal Futures & Option ni termengidam nak buat nasi planta. Sekali je rasanya pernah buat nasi planta dulu. Not bad la for the first trial. And this is the second trial.


Nasi Planta:

2 cawan beras *saya guna beras serindit.
3 cawan air
1 cawan susu cair
3 sudu planta
1 labu bawang besar
1 ulas bawang putih
Bunga lawang
Buah pelaga
Kayu manis
Garam
Kismis *opt
Gajus *opt

Basuh beras & toskan. Letak terus dalam rice cooker to facilitate your work. Hihi

Mayang halus bawang besar & bawang putih. Then tumis dengan planta, baru masukkan buah pelaga, bunga lawang & kayu manis. Tumis sampai bawang-bawang tu layu.

Tunangkan bahan tumis tersebut ke dalam rice cooker yang berisi beras. Gaulkan dan masukkan susu cair beserta air. Masukkan garam secukup rasa and biarkan ia masak dalam rice cooker :)
